Meet Chrissie Brewer
ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric | Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I graduated from Connecticut College (BA) and Columbia University School of Nursing (BSN, MSN), and have been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2017.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, trauma, sleep issues, school refusal, and interpersonal challenges. My approach integrates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and practical self-regulation strategies to help you better understand what’s going on and learn how to manage it in your day-to-day life.
One of the things that sets my practice apart is my accessibility between sessions. If questions come up, something shifts, or you need additional support, you’re able to reach me directly. You’re not left trying to figure things out on your own between appointments.
Many clients share that working with me feels comfortable, collaborative, and straightforward, more like a real conversation than a clinical experience. I take a direct, grounded approach while still making sure you feel supported and understood, especially when things feel overwhelming or hard to manage.
You don’t have to keep trying to figure this out on your own. With the right treatment and support, things can feel more stable, clear, and manageable.
